Role in Third Earthsiege:
Diamenta is a historical figure and an inspiration to the people of the 29th century. Whether and
where her mind now resides is a secret.

Brown eyes, gray hair, dark skin
The woman who came to be called Diamenta Neshepaz was born to poverty and destruction, a
orphaned child of the tunnels under South Africa’s Rijksburg during the horrors of the First
Earthsiege. As the human resistance marshaled its forces in the Second Earthsiege, she rose to
leadership through a ruthless brilliance unusual in one so young. After the Earthsiege, she played a
key role in the reconstruction and the establishment of the Empire. By 2700, Diamenta was
President of Southern Africa Consolidated, the region’s governing milicorp, and held a seat on the
Imperial Council for United Africa. She is still remembered as one of the great heroes of the age,
held up to the youth of humanity as a shining example of humankind’s character and courage.
Unknown to the public and to history, however, Diamenta was really a member of the Immortal
Brotherhood, a contemporary of Emperor Petresun. Amid the tragedy and terror of the
Earthsiege, the Brotherhood took the opportunity to insert Immortal personalities into positions of
leadership, and several heroes of the war went on to gain positions of influence in politics and
commerce during the Age of Isolation. Diamenta was one of these.
